Nonprofit Fundraising Documentary

These two clips are a special sneak peek at the new documentary Rocket Dog Rescue hired Goldilocks Studios to make. It will premiere during the November 2022 fundraising gala “The Bummer’s Ball”.

Rocket Dog Rescue gave me a challenge with this project: can I show the human impact? Most animal rescue videos focus on two dramatic moments: the rescue and the adoption of the dog. While these are important and exciting events, Rocket Dog wanted a film that told the whole story: Rocket Dog isn’t just an animal rescue, it’s a place that changes the lives of people too.

The full 14 min film tells several gripping stories about rescue and adoption, all while revealing the lasting and expansive human impact Rocket Dog Rescue has had on its many volunteers, fosters, and adopters. Both a celebration of their work over the past 20+ years, and a rallying cry for ongoing support as they fulfill their mission every day, the film is designed to help Rocket Dog fundraise, recruit volunteers, and win grants.
